How To Fix Bad Reviews Online

Once you go public with anything, you must expect that no matter how wonderful your products and services are, you’re going to get some bad reviews.

In fact, the more popular you are, the more likely you are to not only get bad reviews but really mean ones too.

But, you can turn things around by how you deal with and fix bad reviews.

Don’t Get Defensive

When you see a bad review, the first thing that often happens is your heart starts beating faster, and you feel flustered, embarrassed, and upset. That’s okay; let yourself feel but do not respond while you’re upset. If it helps, copy the review and paste it into a document instead of staying on the review site. Take apart the review in the document, take out any unnecessary information such as name calling and direct attacks. That way you can look at it more objectively and think about how to respond.

Sometimes Ignoring the Review Is the Best You Can Do

If it’s an especially mean review, sometimes not answering at all is the best thing you can do. Eventually, the review will be buried by other, good reviews. One bad review, especially if it seems nasty, will not ruin things for you.

Don’t Get Pulled into an Online Battle

If you do choose to answer, use your document where you took out the mean parts of the review and only answer to the things that you can fix in a positive way. You don’t want to be dragged into an online battle; that will not make you look good to anyone.

Acknowledge the Issue and Apologize

When you do see a real issue that you can address in a review, you want to acknowledge it. Being the bigger person and showing your concern about customer service is the best way to ensure that you can make a customer who is unhappy happy in the end.

Be Personal and Authentic

It’s very important that you be yourself. The main reason is that it’s impossible to be someone else authentically. It’ll show that you’re an amazing person because no one else can be you. Plus, people will find out if you’re being fake and you’ll lose trust.

Handle It Offline When Possible

One of the best things to do for serious issues is to take it offline. If you can solve the issue with the dissatisfied customer even if you can’t turn them into a raving fan, you will get respect.

Implementing Blog Marketing Online

Blog marketing online is a huge thing. Almost every major site online is based as a blog, or has an active and engaging blog attached to it. So why not you? Why aren’t you using a blog as part of your overall online marketing strategy? This is a pivotal question, because there a lot of people who are using a blog SOLELY as their primary way to make money online. So implementing blog marketing online is something that is absolutely vital to your success.

Now some people view blogs as tools that only the entertainment industry and professional chefs use to interact with fans and followers. But that’s not true. You can use blogs for all kinds of reasons, and some of these reasons are what I’m going to talk about today. Never underestimate the power that a blog has to boost sales, boost readership and engagement, and to build your brand.

Here’s 1 simple reason that people choose to implement blog marketing online:

1) Creating a professional blog is EASIER than a website

Do you know HTML? CSS? Javascript? PHP? All of these things are coding languages used by web developers to create websites. With blogs, you can bypass these with simple “themes” that come complete and ready to go. For example, the most popular blogging platform called WordPress has themes that you can customize, and make it look like you paid someone $100′s of dollars to do.

With themes, you simply upload it to your WordPress dashboard, and edit it as you see fit. There are TONS of free and paid ones out there. But you can easily download more for free from within your WordPress control panel. With the option of themes, creating a blog is easier than ever. No more do you have to struggle to learn coding or paying people high fees to get a website done. And you don’t even have to deal with website building software either.

Here’s another reason people implement blog marketing online:

2) It’s great for monetization

“Monetization” simply means how you’re going to make money with your blog, site, product, etc. On a blog, there are a lot of ways that you can monetize it. You can host Google AdSense ads on your blog, you can promote affiliate products (or your own products) on your blog, you can promote your affiliate program on your blog, you can create t-shirts and make them for sale on your blog, and you can even charge people to advertise on your blog. It’s really that simple.

Because I offer services and products, my favorite way to make money with my blog is by promoting my affiliate program on there. This way I can encourage users who are looking to make money to view my advice in my blog posts – and feel confident that my consulting services are even better than the knowledge that I dispense on my blog. Then they go, and become an affiliate of mine, and I get free promotion for my consulting services.

You can do the same also if you sell a product or service – or – you can take a totally different route and promote affiliate items. You can sign up for a CPA program (cost per action), and make money whenever someone clicks on a link or banner on your blog. The options are endless, and the world is your’s when it comes to blog marketing online.

Here’s another reason people use blogs:

3) Video blogs

Video blogs are very popular. These are the kinds of blogs that major entertainment companies and even small-time chefs use to get popular. If you’re a chef, instead of writing about a recipe or how to make something, simply create a video and upload it to your blog, so people can see you actually making it. It will further help you to build the bond with your subscribers and frequent visitors.

If you’re a viewer of a cooking video, wouldn’t you rather see how many ingredients and the proportion of the ingredients to use instead of reading about it? For some people, they just enjoy watching food being cooked. And should the day ever come for them to make the same exact recipe for themselves, they want to know the exact sizes and amounts to put into a pot before they run off and totally make a disaster of the dish.

Video blogs are very popular. But there’s another reason why you should do blog marketing online.

4) Content syndication

It’s one thing to write a blog post, but it’s totally another thing to write a blog post and have it shared and distributed around the internet. Plus, writing articles and uploading them onto a custom website in an organized fashion is hard. When you upload content onto a regular website, you have to worry about URL structure, how it fits on the page, how it fits around ads or Google AdSense content, how to draft a snippet of it, and etc. It can be a hassle.

But with a blog, all of this is taken cared of for you. Great link structure is created and preserved, you can edit your blog posts with ease, you can design your blog post easily around ads, photos, and other links on your site, and more. Plus, you can make it easy for people to syndicate your content easily – and subscribe to your blog – with just 1 simple click. Doing blog marketing online certainly has its benefits.

A blog can be a powerful tool when it comes to boosting your sales and profits. Hopefully now you don’t view blogs as a 1-dimensional tool. It’s definitely multi-dimensional, and how vast you grow it is based solely on your creativity and marketing ingenuity.

Also, be sure to realize that blogs are a great way to build your brand and presence within a niche. As time passes, your blog can become an “authority site” within your niche. People will know all about you and who you are, and you could possibly be contacted for partnerships, interviews, or even deals with top leaders in your niche. All of this can happen when you do blog marketing online, so start doing it today.

How to Invest in Bonds for Deflation Protection

The four asset classes in a Permanent Portfolio include stocks, bonds, cash and gold. Each asset class hedges against one of the four economic conditions: inflation, deflation, prosperity and recession. We initially invest 25% each into each asset class and then rebalance the whole portfolio when one of the asset classes reaches a 35% or 15% rebalancing trigger. Using the Permanent Portfolio Investment Strategy provides us with these benefits:

Great returns: it gained over 8% per year over the last 40 years with low volatility.

Diversification: using multiple asset classes helps mitigate risk as we are not putting all of our eggs in one basket.

Economic condition allocation: each asset class behaves differently depending on what is happening in our economy. Stocks are for prosperity, bonds are for deflation, gold is for inflation and cash is for recession.

Low cost: we can implement the Permanent Portfolio with an annual cost of only 0.15% vs. the industry average of 1.03%. This puts more money in your pocket and less in theirs.

Reduces investing fear and greed: because we are using a systematic approach to investing, we are taking emotions out of the equation. Emotions are your biggest barrier to investing success.

No market timing or guessing which asset class will outperform. It doesn’t get any easier than this.

Easy to manage: the Permanent Portfolio is a low maintenance strategy; it will take you only a few minutes each year to self-manage your investments.
We only buy long-term nominal treasury bonds with maturities of 25 or more years for the Permanent Portfolio. No TIPS, corporate, municipal or foreign bonds. We use treasuries for safety reasons and they help mitigate the following risks:

No default risk. Governments can print more money to pay their obligations.

No call risk. These bonds are not callable like some corporate or municipal bonds can be.

No currency risk as these bonds are denominated in your local currency.

No outside political risk.
We hold these treasury bonds until they reach 20 years left to maturity. We then sell them and then buy new long-term bonds. While we hold the bonds they are paying us interest income. We allocate this earned interest income to our Cash asset class. There is an inverse relationship between bond prices and interest rates. When interest rates go up, bond prices go down. And vice versa. We hold bonds for deflation protection. Interest rates fall during a deflation which cause bond prices to rise. If this bond buying and selling seems too complicated for you, explore using the iShares TLT which is a low-cost long-term treasury bond exchange traded fund (ETF). If you live outside the USA, you should be able to find an equivalent for your country. I hold the bonds directly and don’t use a fund.

What Are the Different Money Market Instruments?

There are different parts of a financial market in India and one of them is known as the money market. These are financial instruments that are traded that are high liquidity and are very short term maturities. Yes, it is a completely safe investment and these do meet the short term requirement goals of the investment. So, what are these money market instruments?

Treasury bills

One of the most common market instruments that are enabled today by the Government is treasury bills. This enables investors to place their short term surplus money with a reduced market risk. The key advantage with treasury bills is that they are auctioned by the RBI regularly and each time they are given or issued with a discount that is present of the face value and upon maturity only is the face value paid to the holder. While the rate of discount and the issuing price are decided during the auction, they are available at a base price of Rs. 25,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 25,000/- there on.

Repurchase agreements

This is a short term money market instrument that is released by government securities and this is in a quick manner at all times. This is normally sold in a 24 hour period and the seller agrees to repurchase it in the future and that is when it is a repo; whereas it is a reverse repurchase agreement for the buyer. Even though the asset is sold at the start, the commitment to buy it makes it a temporary sale even though it officially is a permanent sale.

Commercial papers

This is an unsecured market instrument that is many times drawn closely towards a mutual fund investment. It is a short term loan that is used for financing accounts in their inventories; this is usually sold as a discount and is impacted by the present market interest rates. The maturities that are linked with a commercial paper are usually at a maximum of 9 months. In most cases, these investments are sold within 45-60 days. It is a safe investment and the growth of the investment can be seen and predicted in the short term. It is also worthy to note that only corporations with high ratings of credit release these.

Certificates of deposit

This is a negotiable money market instrument that is issued by banks and do not have the maturity that is not less than 7 days and goes to a maximum of a year. However, most financial institutions do allow these to be issued for a period between a year and to 3 years. They are almost like bank deposits by they are negotiable and are known to have a higher return as compared to a bank term. This can be released by all scheduled banks and can be given to individuals, trusts, funds and associations. These are issued with a discount rate and can be freely decided by the investor and the issuer.

Bankers Acceptance

This is a short term debt market instrument that is given by a commercial bank and these are seen as a commercial transaction. These are used or traded at a discounted rate from the secondary market face value that is provided and this works towards the benefit of the investor as it does not have to wait till maturity. This is a strong product in the international trade section of investments and has plenty of takers.

If you are looking at the short term end of an investment, any of these market instruments would be a smart idea. Look at the kind of investment that would suit you best and compare the different instruments before purchase.

Is Your Business Bank Bankable?

Are you happy with your bank? Do you consider what you pay in fees to be a good value for the services received? Do you consider your bank to be a source of support for your business? If the answer to any of these question is “no” or “maybe,” read on. The choice of a bank is a serious decision in our personal and business lives and size matters, whether you maintain a business or personal account with the bank.

The expected needs of the individual or the business must be considered when choices are made. Banks have become both expensive and competitive over the past couple of decades and you owe it to yourself to get your needs met in exchange for the favor of allowing the bank to hold your money and collect the fees you pay for that convenience.

In your personal life, you will want to buy or refinance a home, make home repairs and upgrades, or finance your child’s education. As a business owner or Solopreneur consultant, you may have equipment or technology upgrades to finance, or growth and expansion plans that will require outside financing. Whatever your financial plans, a helpful banker will provide crucial advice and facilitate access to capital, so that you will realize your goals and fulfill your obligations.

How should Solopreneurs and business owners choose a bank? A good way to start is to identify two community banks, two regional and two large national outfits and pay each a visit. Walk in and ask to meet the business banker, who is also usually the commercial loan officer. If you need an appointment, make one, so that you will have time to talk. Tell this individual about your business, about plans you have on the drawing board and your projected banking services and/or financial needs. How can the bank augment and support your plans? What insights and suggestions does the banker offer you?

If business credit is a priority, ask these three questions:

What is the amount of the credit line that the business banker can personally approve?
Does the bank offer SBA loans and is it a Preferred SBA Lender and able to approve and underwrite such loans independently?
How much SBA loan business is done and what percentage of applications are approved?
Below are general guidelines to consider as you re-think the banking needs of your business venture. Remember to ask about merchant credit card processing fees for both in person, online and mobile transactions if you accept debit and credit cards.
Community banks

Appropriate for Solopreneurs and small or medium size businesses
Fees can be high as compared to larger banks
Online or mobile banking technology might be slow or not comprehensive
Service is typically excellent. This is old-fashioned banking. Customers are taken care of. The tellers and managers know you.
Loan decisions are made locally. The loan officer knows you and your business. S/he want to help. Your character will count.
Regional banks
Appropriate for small to medium size businesses that plan to grow
Fees are about average
Online and mobile banking technology will meet expectations, the basics will be available
Service is usually good, the regionals are capable of delivering personalized service
Loan decisions will be made with an eye to the local economy, along with what your financial statements indicate about your ability to repay
National banks
Appropriate for medium to large businesses that do out-of-state and/or international business
Fees are usually the lowest available, the result of economies of scale
Online and mobile banking technology will be the most cutting-edge available and banking can be almost entirely done online
Service is often impersonal because staff turn-over is often high. No one knows you for long. Decisions are not made locally at the branch level.
Loans are issued strictly by the numbers, the manager will not be able to give you the benefit of the doubt.

5 Reasons Why SMB’s Should Use SEO

As the owner of a small or medium-sized business, you may be under the impression that “SEO” (Search Engine Optimisation) is just a fancy marketing term for big businesses and corporations. And you’re not alone – in a recent survey, it was found that while 56% of small businesses have their own websites, only 28% think about SEO.

The importance of SEO in this day and age could not be more prevalent. Neglecting to apply SEO strategies to your website may be as crippling for your business as locking your front doors. So what does SEO do? In a world where most consumers use search engines to find nearby companies, SEO is the difference between being visible or invisible. Here are 5 reasons why SMB’s should use SEO today.

1) Traffic Boost

The traffic going to your website is driven mainly by search engines. Simply putting up a website is not enough to get seen; people have to know you exist in the first place. Every time they use Google or another search engine to find their new job, designer handbag, car repair (or anything else), Google uses special algorithms to determine which websites will show up on the front page.

By using certain SEO strategies, you can be one of the first sites to pop up every time someone needs something related to your business. Without SEO, you will be buried beneath a mountain of competitors.

2) It’s Cost Effective

Most marketing and advertising costs big money, but the only cost of SEO is how much time you spend learning SEO strategies and writing content, or paying an SEO specialist to improve your Google rankings. With a proper SEO campaign maintained over several months, you can expect an ROI several times greater than any Facebook or AdWords advertising, up to 800% or more.

3) Small Businesses Can Beat Big Businesses with Specific Keywords and Other Localized Advantages

Once you get into SEO, you will start to learn that it’s all about the keywords, which are simply the words and phrases that people enter into search engines. The overall goal of SEO is to write content in which these keywords are used and focused on, making your site stronger and higher ranked when people Google that certain keyword.

So you might think that your chances at success are hopeless; after all, how are you supposed to out-SEO corporations and large businesses that have been doing this for years? Well, small businesses actually have a greater advantage due to long tail keywords. Long tail keywords are long and specific keywords or phrases. As a small business, you also have a smaller and more specific target audience (for example, everyone looking for your product or service in your town or city, as opposed to a global audience). You can hone in on long tail keywords that include your specific location or audience, that big businesses won’t bother tackling. Sure, Toys R Us may get all the “new toys” searches, but your small toy store can capture all the “new toys for young boys in London” searches.

And this isn’t the only thing that helps out small businesses, search engines generally take into account the user’s location with Local Search, meaning you have a better chance to be seen by people in your area. This will only improve with recent updates in which business owners can further personalize their listings.

In addition to this there is also what’s known as “off-page SEO”: this is less about the SEO work you do on your website, and more about improving your reputation in the real world and through social media. It turns out that people are more than willing to talk up a small local business that provide a good service, and the more people are talking about you on the web, the more likely your rankings will rise.

4) Competitors Will Always Have an Advantage If You Don’t Jump Onboard

The internet boom has come and gone, and ignoring what it can offer is just irresponsible for your business. SEO is fact of life these days and most, if not all, of your competitors are certain to be doing this, so you need to get onboard.

You may argue that you already have a stable group of loyal customers who will keep your business afloat, customers with whom you have built up trust before the SEO and social media years. Sure, that may be the case now, but how long until those customers stop needing or wanting the service or product you provide? New customers will not flock to your store like the old ones. Why? Because new customers will be swept away by your competition long before they even hear your name.

5) SEO Will Always Be Around

SEO isn’t something that we’ll ride out. The way search engines work, and the fact Google has an increasingly monopolized hold over search engines and various social media platforms, SEO will always be relevant. The best option is to start working on your SEO as soon as possible if you don’t want your business to drown under the current.

So what are you waiting for? Don’t let the marketing acronyms and jargon scare you away; at the end of the day, SEO is as simple as every other part of running a business. The longer you wait, the further you fall behind. And if you still don’t feel comfortable handling all the technical aspects of SEO, that’s fine; that’s what SEO specialists are for.

First things first, it is important that you have your own website. Why? For the reason that people will surely want to learn more about your company and they would automatically look for your website. As much as possible get version because it is the extension that quickly comes to mind for most people. And your website does not have to be flashy or extravagant. Just as long as you adequately present your business on your web pages will get the job done.

When you already have your own website learn how to properly optimize it for the search engines. However, keep in mind that you should not over optimize because it will greatly hurt your chances of getting a top ranking in the search engine results. In case you find it too time consuming or hard, I suggest you simply hire an SEO services company to help you.

Find out where your target customers frequently go online and then advertise on that website. Get a graphic designer to help you create an attractive banner ad and then contact the site owner. Negotiate for the best price and make sure your advertisement will be posted on the specific web page where your prospective customers frequent.

Social media is king these days therefore it is important that you have a good social media marketing strategy. This is all about engaging with your customers and the public in general using such popular platforms like Twitter and Facebook. The best way to do this is by assigning this task to one of your employees, preferably someone with deep knowledge of how your business works including the variety of products and services you are offering.

Send out some press releases. Just like in the print media, you can also publish PR articles. Of course you should not expect that every website or publication that you submit to will be posting your article. The key here is you need a well-written and highly interesting write up. Get a press release writing service to write it for you if you are not a skilled writer yourself.

So there you go. These are four of the basic and yet very important site promotion tips that you should follow. It does take time to master all of them but believe me when I say that the rewards are truly worth it.

What Analysia Is All About

Technology and the internet have advanced enough to allow us to earn sitting in the comfort of our own house. If you don’t prefer to go out, it’s not a problem anymore. You can have your business right at your home. There are many means of earning money online, but a recent one that is rapidly gaining popularity is usability testing. It’s fast, it’s easy and it pays. Why wouldn’t anyone want to use it as their source of income? However, many people think that this way to make money online is scam. We analyze websites and rate them to tell you the amount of potential each website has. One such site is Analysia. Let’s dissect the different aspects of this website to tell you what Analysia is about.

What is Analysia?

The site is a usability testing forum which allows users to assess the quality of their website. Normally, website owners invest a lot of time and money into their website but fail to meet customer needs and satisfaction. This leads to a decrease in valuable traffic. To avoid the situation, users can get the help of Analysia, which provides a realistic review what it’s like to use your site. It can cost you around $39, but for this, you get to have your site reviewed on any platform you like, including the different phones and devices.

You will be asked to provide a basic questionnaire, that you want answered. The reviewers will then answer those questions on a webcam while testing your website. If you have problems with the test or require any kind of information, the site owners have a telephone support to sort out your queries. The site even offers a money back guarantee if the results fail to meet your demands. In addition to all of this, there is also the handy tips and resource material available to improve your user interface. You can access these and use them to your advantage as well.

How to earn with Analysia

Yes, you have guessed it right. You can become a tester for the site to earn money. You do need to have a computer, a microphone, and great descriptive skills for the job, but that’s about it. Once you register for the site, you will be given a test with some instructions, this hardly takes more than 10 minutes. As soon as you are done, the test is submitted for review by the Analysia team. It can take some time for the site to get back to you, but you need to be patient. This is what Analysia is about. You do get to earn, but there is the wait. If you do get selected, you enter the program. Now, whenever there is an assignment fitting your criteria, it will be forwarded to you by email. The payment method is basically through PayPal and the site pays without issues.

Average monthly income

The site is not about commitment and investing time. Rather, it’s about grabbing the opportunity when it presents itself. Normally, as there are more testers than the jobs available, you can’t expect to get more than 3-4 assignments per month. Each assignment usually lasts around 15 minutes and will credit you with $10. If you do manage to build up your profile you might increase your income, but our rough estimate lies at around $50 to $60 per month at most.

Authenticity of Analysia

Most people believe online testing to make money online is scam. We don’t agree. Yes, it might not pay well, but it definitely is authentic and does pay you what it promised. Similarly, this is what Analysia is about also. You register complete tests and earn money. They don’t promise you riches, but you can maintain a steady stream of pocket money from the site. Also, you can sign up on different usability testing platforms and combine all the earnings for a handsome amount in a month. We rate Analysia a 40/100 on our authenticity meter. Don’t worry, this isn’t because it is a scam, rather, it’s because of the generally low income in comparison to other modes of earning. However, if you are looking for an extra source of income, Analysia is a great website to add to your side income list.

Via [] we help people by categorizing best raffles and sweepstakes which are the most suitable and reliable online for getting brand new phones, pads, game consoles, make up sets, fashionable clothes and much more. Also we teach the best way to earn money in the online platforms.
